Dalam rangka memperingati Hari Antikorupsi Sedunia 2023, Pemko Medan melalui Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Medan menggelar Sosialisasi Antikorupsi pada Satuan PAUD tahun 2023 di Hotel Madani Medan, Rabu (6/12).
Bunda PAUD Kota Medan Ny Kahiyang Ayu M Bobby Afif Nasution berharap, sosialisasi ini dapat membangun dan menanamkan karakter jujur, peduli, mandiri, disiplin dan bertanggung jawab.
Dengan demikian setelah dewasa nanti, anak-anak PAUD akan memiliki integritas karena telah ditanamkan mental antikorupsi sejak dini.
Oleh karenanya Ny Kahiyang menilai, pendidikan anti korupsi sangat perlu dilakukan sejak dini.
“Korupsi ini bukan melulu tentang uang, tetapi juga ada yang namanya korupsi waktu.
Selain itu, orang tua juga harus mengajarkan kepada anaknya mengenai apa itu korupsi dan dampak negatifnya kepada mereka.
Anak-anak juga ini harus diajarkan sedari dini dengan menanamkan nilai kejujuran,” kata Ny Kahiyang.
Didampingi Ketua Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Kota Medan Ny Ismiralda Wiriya Alrahman,
Kadis Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Medan Benny Sinomba Siregar, para narasumber dan para peserta
, Ny Kahiyang selanjutnya berpesan kepada guru dan kepala sekolah agar bekerja sama dengan orang tua.
Ketika ingin mengimplementasikan nilai kejujuran pada anak, kata Ny Kahiyang Ayu, orang tua dapat diikutsertakan.
“Saya berharap dengan dilakukannya sosialisasi ini, kita dapat bersama-sama mengajarkan nilai kejujuran kepada anak.
Dengan begitu kita dapat menjadi penyumbang guna mensukseskan cita-cita besar Indonesia yakni Indonesia Emas 2045,” harapnya.(yg)
