Kegiatan ini turut dihadiri oleh Kepala Balai Besar Pelatihan Vokasi dan Produktivitas Medan, yang mewakili, Kepala Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Pertanian Kota Binjai, Direktur Utama PT Naturpalas Indonesia, yang mewakili. Bertempat di ruang Aula Lapas, kegiatan ini diawali dengan Laporan Pelaksanaan Kegiatan oleh Kepala Seksi Kegiatan Kerja, Sahat Bangun.
Dalam arahannya Sahat Bangun berharap Kegiatan ini dapat membantu narapidana mengembangkan dirinya sesuai bakatnya masing-masing dan mempersiapkan dirinya untuk menambah pengetahuan, keterampilan, serta penghasilan sehingga mampu secara mandiri berkarya setelah bebas dan bersaing dalam bursa tenaga kerja.

“ Kegiatan Pelatihan Keterampilan Bersertifikat Berbasis Kompetensi Tahun 2023 ada sebanyak 2 Paket Pelatihan Keterampilan Bidang Cabinet Maker (Meubel). Jumlah peserta yang akan mengikuti pelatihan keterampilan sebanyak 40 Warga Binaan. Kemudian dalam satu paket pelatihan akan dilaksanakan selama 19 Hari dengan waktu pelatihan selama 114 Jam sehingga dalam 1 Hari ada 6 Jam pembelajaran,“ pungkasnya.
