TELISIK.NET I MEDAN
Seratusan mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam Kelompok Cipayung Plus Kota Medan menggelar aksi damai di depan Balai Kota Medan, Senin (20/3).
Kedatangan mereka untuk mendukung penuh Wali Kota Medan Bobby Nasution.
Sejak dilantik menjadi orang nomor satu di Pemko Medan, menantu Presiden Joko Widodo itu dinilai telah banyak membawa perubahan bagi Kota Medan
Melalui program-program pembangunan yang dilakukan, termasuk lima program prioritas yang kini fokus untuk dituntaskan.
Para mahasiswa tiba di depan Balai Kota Medan sekitar pukul 11.00 WIB. Dari atas mobil komando yang dilengkapi speaker aktif, secara bergilir perwakilan organisasi mahasiswa yang berasal dari sejumlah perguruan tinggi itu langsung menyampaikan orasinya.
Dengan tegas mereka menyetakan mendukung penuh kinerja Bobby Nasution dan siap menjadi garda terdepan untuk mengawal kebijakan-kebijakan yang dinilai sangat pro masyarakat tersebut.
“Kami sangat mengapresiasi kinerja Bapak Bobby Nasution. Selama kepemimpinan beliau telah memberikan dampak baik kepada masyarakat dan telah melakukan pembangunan yang merata di seluruh wilayah Kota Medan,
Termasuk di wilayah Medan bagian Utara yang terkenal dengan premanisme dan sebagai kawasan tertinggal,” kata salah seorang mahasiswa dalam orasinya.
Dalam penanganan banjir, ungkap mahasiswa itu lagi, selain pembangunan drainase, Bobby Nasution juga telah menyiapkan pembangunan kolam retensi untuk mengatasi persoalan banjir yang selama ini dikeluhkan masyarakat.
Begitu juga dalam pengembangan UMKM, orang nomor satu di pemko Medan itu juga dinilai telah memberikan sumbangsih yang sangat besar agar pelaku UMKM berkembang dan naik kelas.
“Di bidang kesehatan, Pak Bobby juga telah melakukan penanganan stunting dengan baik.
Termasuk, keberhasilan mencapai jumlah kepersertaan JKN melebihi 95 persen dari jumlah penduduk sehingga program Universal Health Coverage (UHC) dapat diterapkan sehingga warga kurang mampu mendapatkan pelayanan kesehatan gratis di puskesmas dan rumah sakit yang menjadi provider BPJS Kesehatan dengan hanya menunjukkan KTP,” ungkapnya
Begitu juga di bidang infrastruktur, imbuh mahasiswa itu lagi, mereka melihat banyak jalan di Kota Medan yang tersentuh perbaikan.
Atas dasar itulah, tegasnya, atas kinrja yang telah dilakukan Bobby Nasution tersebut, maka Kelompok Cipayung Plus Kota Medan sepakat untuk mengapresiasi atas kinerja dan kepemimpinan Bobby Nasution.
Aksi para mahasiswa diterima Sekda Kota Medan Wiriya Alrahman. Kepada para mahasiswa, Wiriya menyampaikan salam dari Wali Kota.
“Saya tadi dihubungi untuk menerima adik-adik mahasiswa. Sebab, Pak Wali kota saat ini berada di Jakarta sedang menerima penghargaan PPKM Award atas keberhasilan dalam melakukan penanganan Covid-19,” jelas Wiriya.
Selanjutnya, Wiriya menyampaikan ucapan teriam kasih kepada Cipayung Plus karena aksi yang dilakukan untuk mendukung Wali Kota dalam melakukan pembangunan di Kota Medan seusai dengan visi misi.
Dikatakannya, Bobby Nasution telah menjalankan tugas lebih dari dua tahun. Di dalam proses pembangunan, jelasnya, sosial ekonomi masyarakat pasti terdampak.
“Kami berupaya bagaimana mengurangi dampak yang ditimbulkan sekecil mungkin selama proses pembangunan berlangsung.
Adik-adik mahasiswa bisa melihat, saat ini hampir di seluruh wilayah di kota Medan terus dilakukan pembangunan, termasuk pemberdayaan masyarakat.
Itu sebabnya konsep pembangunan Kota Medan dilakukan secara komperehensif, baik itu fisik, sosial dan ekonomi,” ungkapnya.
Terkait itulah, kata Wiriya, Wali Kota sangat mengharapkan dukungan seluruh masyarakat, termasuk Kelompok Cipayung Plus.
“Kami berharap kepada adik-adik mahasiswa untuk menyampaikan kepada masyarakat bahwasannya Pemko Medan sungguh-sungguh dalam menjalankan pembangunan di Kota Medan agar berkembang lebih maju serta menjadi kota metropolitan yang berkah, maju dan kondusif, harapnya.(yong)
